The story

The hero's party has already defeated the Demon King when the story begins. Frieren, an elf mage who lives for centuries, barely notices the ten years they spent together – until her human friends start to grow old and die. She sets out again, retracing their route with a new apprentice, and learns about them the way you learn about someone after they are gone.

Why watch it

It is a fantasy series about time rather than power. Episodes often end on a small memory instead of a cliffhanger, and the music leaves space for the landscapes.
